I have terrible insomnia, nothing seems to consistently work. Sometimes Serenity Softgels help other times not at all. Iโ€™ve tried all the other oils recommended for sleep, including copaiba and magnesium supplements.

Being a flight attendant and traveling internationally makes sleep a challenge. One thing that has really helped me is using a sleep mask. Blocking out ambient light really has made a difference, especially when I need to sleep when it is daylight! I am always looking for a comfortable sleep mask. This one looks amazing!

Here are some tips for overcoming jetlag.
*Balance essential oil on the feet
*legs up the wall
*most important, the morning after I get home, standing outside in the sun for 10-15 minutes, preferably within an hour of sunrise. This truly helps to reset that circadian rhythm.
*I also carry a diffuser with me and use it nightly. I typically diffuse Breathe, Lavender and Peppermint

Thank You for the tips for jetlag. I went to San Diego for the Leadership Retreat in March. I can relate to the jetlag and time difference from the east coast. I also have my portable diffuser and it is very helpful along with the sleep system.

@kelli-wood The sleep system is so good to use. Being consistent is the key also.

Sorry to hear about your insomnia. It is not easy to figure out the culprit of your insomnia. It can certainly be combination of many things. I know from experience that being consistent in your bedtime regimen really does help and it may take time for you to start to see a better nights sleep. I also add Deep Blue Polyphenol with Copaiba, Serenity capsules at night. Diffuse Serenity and I add Adaptiv, Balance and either cedarwood or vetiver. Do not skip the step of putting the Serenity stick on the bottom of your feet. You may be doing all ofthese things or a variation. Try to be consistent. The other thing I add sometimes is the breathe stick under my nose and on my chest.
Hope some of this will help.

Oh my I just watched the replay of the April Kick off. It was so good to hear Dr. Gough and Ruth talk about the eye mask. How do they find the coolest and functional items.

I bought a black eye mask for myself a few months ago. I was trying to improve my sleep. I will have to check this one out!

I have a friend who suggested a Coop pillow (crescent shaped) for better sleep. I have been trying it the last month and it is very comfortable.

I thought I would check in and share a little of my challenges these last few weeks. I have had to change up a bit how and what I am doing for my protocol. I take VMG+ one monring and then the MetaPwr the next. I have had a little set back trying to take them the same mornings. So I discovered that I needed to dothem each every other morning and that seems to work better. Anyone else having any issues with taking both of them every morning?

@debbe-noe Debbe I am so proud of you for listening to and honoring your bodily sensations and following your instincts on what is best for your body! This is a prime example of empowered wellness and really embodying your own natural intelligence! Love you friend! We are cheering you on!!! โ™ฅ๏ธ

@debbe-noe - You are not alone. I had trouble at first taking the full amount of VMG, (I'm still only up to a tablespoon at a time), and could not take it with other supplements. It took about a year of experimenting to come up with a protocol and I suppose that time for my body to heal and accept more at a time.
You are a great role model in listening to your bodyโฃ๏ธ Thank you

Checking is to see how everyone is doing? I have had a few set backs but that is a good reminder that sometimes our body needs a rest day. It does not take away from your routine. You get back up and keep going. I have been having migraines in the morning lately. I had to figure out the "why". A few things I narrowed it down to. I am back on track and know that I can overcome if I put my mind to it.
I think the sleep mask would be a great addition to my routine and help with my migraines.

So how are you doing on this journey?

@debbe-noe glad you were able to figure out the migraine issue! I was so tired Sunday, I really fell off track! I realized I needed to just give myself a day and not stress over it. Monday morning I woke up refreshed and started again where I left off.

I love using a sleep mask. This one looks super comfy!

I think I had a good night's rest because I woke up with a new prospective on my life's journey. I need to understand the gifts that each of us have. We will have many challenges and journey's in life. Lean into them and look at what it is you are to learn. We are not all made the same. I am having to accept certain qualities of certain members of my family. I will chose to not let them bring me down but look at them with a different perspective. We do not process things the same and we do not see things the same. way. I will lean into God's grace and peace.

@debbe-noe - My Oma's phrase was "Not my monkey, not my circus" (Opa's was 'not my pig, not my farm') I am still working on this one myself. My 'go to' is to engage with every monkey, good or bad, when all I need to do is watch them and learn. My reaction is 'my monkey' and I don't have to be someone else's monkey to appreciate the success of them and apply what makes my monkey thrive. Oma spoke in idioms, I hope this makes sense. Good on you, Debbe for figuring it out.
