Today is all about create a ripple of light and goodness. How did it feel to write your letter today?
We shared one resource in today's lesson. What are your ideas for serving our circle and communities? How can we create many ripples?
I can't wait to learn from each of you.

I don't think there is enough paper in the world to write down how much my mom means to me, she has supported me and encouraged me every step of the way.❤ Her drive, and determination to me and my siblings is incredible.❤ She "IS" the ripple effect in my life and I can hope and dream to become half the person she is. All that I am, and all I do I owe it all to her. Thank God for a mom like mine❤🥰
If you throw a stone into a pool, the ripples go on spreading outwards. A big stone can cause waves, but even the smallest pebble changes the whole pattern of the water. Our daily actions and deeds are like these ripples, each one makes a difference, even the smallest.

Sharing my experience with those who ask is how the ripple grows and how new people join. My daughter has a friend whose boyfriend has digestive problems. He started taking a doTERRA product and they have fall in love with doTERRA. Things like that just sharing when something is good makes our community grow.

I felt good writing the letter. What I need to do is just carry oils with me and when I see a need just show them what will help.

Wow, Ruth your messages are so empowering. It brought tears to my eyes as I was listening. I knew without a doubt who I was gong to send it to. I reflected on the moment this person was there for me emotionally and physically. I am pretty good about letting people know in the moment how grateful I am to have them in my life.

My husband heard today’s message and when it was over he said who are you writing to? I burst out crying and he was obviously baffled by my response. I then said my person would be my mom who is in heaven. She was a little lady with a profound impact that has lived on through many. She set the bar on how I show up for my grandkids each and every day.

I wrote two letters; one to my Ajahn Pichest who passed this summer and one to my teachers (another fabulous husband/wife team) are still here. It brought me joy to think of ways all three of them have not only taught me techniques, but the meaning and practice of loving kindness. And how learning to accept and manifest kindness in your own heart can only bring joy to those you come in contact with.

In another note of service; I was recently introduced to a service app for the visually impaired. It is called BeMyEyes ( https://www.BeMyEyes.com ). It is a way for persons who live alone who cannot see details to get help reading labels, verifying instructions, etc. I have a friend with macular degeneration, we were able to set it up on her phone so that she can get help when she needs. Also, I am looking forward to volunteering to help others with this app.

I took a note over to one of my neighbors. Her little girl (6 yrs old) hadn't seen me for a week and was worried about me and my doggies. She wanted to know if I was ok, so she found her mothers phone and called me today to make sure I was ok. It touch my heart to know that a little girl was worried about me. I make sure to go to her sport events

I shared the quote with a friend who shared her recent mental health struggles and what she is doing to address them. I offered, then even requested, she allow me to serve her by providing her an Aromatouch massage. She is such a giving person who has caused ripples for so many. I'm praying for her and going she is able to accept a positive "ripple" from someone else in her time of need.

I hope she accepts!!!☝🏻
It’s wonderful when those around us that we care so much about accept good things from others including us. 🙏🤲🏻

I felt a feeling of gratitude and thankfulness for the positive lessons and foundations my Nana instilled in me.
This last year I used justserve.org to cook dinner twice a month for Aid for Friends. Groups of 5 gather from my church to participate.
This service has formed friendships with the cooks& also the community receiving the meals.

The foundation to better health creates a ripple effect which enhances your mental health and ability to think clearly, eat smarter, move more, & sleep soundly.
This book resonateswith habits of excellence challenge as learned physical activity improves memory, problem solving, & makes you happier. Better eating boosts the immune system, increases energy, lowers inflammation,& increases energy.

I originally sat down and wrote one letter to a friend and now I decided I am also going to send one to my mom.

I struggled with this challenge. I have no problem expressing gratitude verbally. It was difficult for me to put my words on paper.

I struggle with the letter writing challenge. I did, however, serve my community through our church's Healing Hands ministry on the day this challenge was issued. It was dirty physical work and I loved it. I get great satisfaction out of doing that kind of community service for others.

Expressing myself in print is hard. My sister and I are 20 months apart and I have always been compared to her. Which lead to us not being close while growing up and even as adults we are not close. I wrote to my sister telling her that I love her.

I would say more challenges like this to get the community members engaged is the way to create those ripples!

It was surprisingly therapeutic. There was so much that I wanted to say to the person I wrote my letter to that I never realized! To finally put all that gratitude into writing was an amazing experience. As a mom to 4 amazing (very active!) boys, the biggest place I can make an impact right now is in my home. So much of my focus is on my boys and helping them grow into amazing men that will do amazing things in their lives.
