Being consistent has always been hard with my job. Get busy then the next thing you know it 5pm and you realize you did stop to eat or take anything… lol I have alarms set to remind me to eat and take everything. So far so good. But it’s ok if it’s not at the same time every day.

It's been an incredible week, and this challenge has been so inspiring.

…one thing I will never regret is to help out others when they need it the most, whether it's just offering a helping hand or just being a friend they can lean on for support.

The meaning of life comes not from what others do for us, but what we can do for others.

Today, God willing, I am going to be calm and grounded for others that may not be feeling this way today. ♥️

I attended the Martin Luther King interfaith service. The messages and songs were awe-inspiring., especially the song" This Little Light of Mine."Listening to MLK message of self-examination, looking for the good in all, the redemptive power of love. As a result, going out as a community shining my light to love one another, to come together and rejoice.

An obstacle I have overcome is reaching out to this community to find togetherness and gratitude. I feel safe, secure and welcomed.
I have become more positive, focusing on the good rather than the negative. ❤️

Sundays are days I check on my Auntie and others I know who may need assistance. We are under snow and ice which is unusual for us so it is not dealt with as is other parts of the country. I wanted to be sure they had power, water and enough food to last a few more days. It should be gone by end of week.

I am thankful for this challenge. I feel safe to share my inner most feelings without being judged. Ruth, your voice is so calming to listen to.

My biggest obstacle is me. I am finding life is getting in the way of keeping up with sharing and assignments. All we can do is keep trying and start again until it becomes a habit for good.

As someone who has a history of self-sabotage in the form of procrastination, accountability has always been difficult for me. I'm not good at holding myself accountable, and that is probably my biggest obstacle. I'm thankful for these trackers and challenges to help keep me on track.

An obstacle I have overcome is “putting myself out there” online. I don’t usually post anything online and this has been a change! But I like posting in here for learning and growing and I like learning from this group!

I started focusing on literally anything positive. Even something as insignificant as finding the matching pair of a sock when i'm getting laundry out of the dryer.

This is inspiring - actually took a pic of this quote as a reminder.

Hope your family is doing well, @jerrielee-parpart . We had temperatures in the -20F last week without the windchill effect.

An obstacle I work on being introverted is speaking up at work in a more positive way.

I applied Balance on one of my kiddos who has been struggling with some big emotions lately. I also used Serenity on him before bed to help him relax.

Attending church is my light and peace, sharing the love of God makes me happy and free. I have been able to break the sugar habit during this challenge, I was eating too many sweets and felt powerless, always giving into the cravings. So far I have stayed sugar free and plan to continue. I love how I feel
