I feel the balance has slowed my mind down enough to focus better and live more in the moment. Love this new habit

So many of the quotes resonate in one way or another.
Thank you. Life is a journey. It all has a purpose to teach us something. Sometimes very hard to see what and why but in time with prayer and patience hopefully we learn something and become better in even one small way.

“Never be so focused on what you are looking for that you overlook the thing you actually find. “
So true ☝🏻We can miss what we already have ❤️
I also love the quote by Mary Oliver.

“Never be so focused on what you are looking for that you overlook the thing you actually find. “
I look at the big picture and focus on the end goal that I forget to focus/see what has been accomplished.

I commented earlier before I listened to the video. I’m so touched by the lesson.
And I’m inspired to take these two quotes and reflect on them daily as my focus this week:
Tell me what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life.
Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage.
@Ruth I truly hope you give yourself “credit” too in your heart for your path to being good a good mom, a voice for children, inspiring others others to goodness in life, and being sincere and vulnerable for goodness - giving others “permission” to look more at ourselves 🎉❤️
I loved todays video.
May we all be happy
May we all be free ❤️

There are so many good ones. I really like the 1% genius 99% perspiration. Hard work pays off.

"…never, ever, give anyone else responsibility for your life."
We live our lives by choices; intentional choices or by default of inaction.
My task for myself this week is to meditate on claiming my responsibility to make intentional choices that reflect how I interact with others.

I like the one from JB Priestley. Always looking forward to a new day to start new beginnings.
@Ruth you are an absolutely amazing beautiful being. It takes a lot to share things from our heart that can make us vulnerable. You trusted us enough to share something so personal. I thank you for that. Because I see you as all together as you sweetly share everyday. I was feeling low about myself until I heard you share your struggles. You must be an amazing mom and wife. Thank you again for pouring out your heart ♥ on us. You are precious and beautiful.

My 2 favs are from Nin & Patchett. I often dream/think big, but find myself often without the courage to step outside my comfort zone or make a change. As a recovering perfectionist, sometimes it's hard to focus on the good/positives if you're so focused on 1 end goal. Both can lead to disappointment. I'm learning to take small steps outside my comfort zone and to focus on the blessings in the present instead of what I thought should or could have been.

@ Monica… I agree with you on stepping out of your comfort zone and focusing on the blessings in the present. I have a tendency to look in the rear view mirror saying I could have/ should have.

I loved the quote by Thomas Edison about genius and perspiration. It is exactly what I have been trying to help my teenager see and understand this last week. I do not think it was a coincidence that you chose to include it in this week's motivation. My focus this week is going to be on my son, and helping him to better see his own potential. This will be an ongoing process for us, definitely not something that is going to be "solved" in a week's time, but I'm going to put extra time and energy in this realm this week.

I very much connect with all of these qoutes. Because life is a journey, it has ups and down and you don't know where it'll go …all you can do is embrace yourself and ask yourself no matter what life will throw at me WHAT AM I BECOMING.
I love the Blue Lotus oil for that reason it is a symbol of becoming and embracing your potential❤.
Becoming is a "Journey of Gentle Transformations of Discovery"!
Becoming is embracing your personal power to expand, to fully express more of who you are and push beyond forces that hold you back. Each single step leads to another.
Becoming isn't a path for your obstacles. As they appear, do you turn away? Fear will whisper doubtful phrases…don't listen
Those who become can see in themselves, strength, potential and love. They celebrate each victory and every lesson.
Your true potential is revealed and you work to confront resistance. Untold bravery is realised as you turn fearful thoughts into courageous action.
When your failures can't detour you, doubt turns to results. When obstacles gather near, determination builds character. The wise know becoming isn't a destination, it's a journey.
What are you Becoming?
The amazing thing about life is we have the chance to keep pushing forward, to pursue what we want in life, and that we don't give up when faced with trials.
Each and everyone of us has dreams, hope's and aspirations, but do we do we give up on those dreams because we we think we are a failure and pursuing them is worthless…don't give up on them. Yes, life is full of trials and has many pot holes in the road ahead and trust me we will stumble into them, but to we have the courage to get up and continue on knowing more trails are ahead. Or, done listen to our fears and doubts saying to stay in your comfort zone, it's not worth pursuing or expanding your horizons, you will fail anyway.. don't listen listen to those doubts and fears, they will take you nowhere and you will gain nothing by them. But there is so much to gain when you follow your dreams and passions, they will take you an a journey of lifetime, one that you'll never ever forget.
Remember your story is front of you, not behind you. Never underestimate the brilliance that shines from within you.. be the person you are meant to "BECOME"♥️

Today's message was so impactful! What resonated with me was the story of the Kintsuki pottery. What a beautiful analogy! My favorite quote was "What will you do with this one precious life"
Thank you for what you are bringing to us through this challenge. I'm so so greatful!❤️❤️❤️

@mindy , but look at all the light shining through those cracks. I do not mean to sound glib, but rather commend you in motherhood. Know you are supported from afar.
