I never thought about the instapot or air fryer ! I just boil them

They are sweeter when baked in the oven and esay to peel

We were at the Asian market this weekend and found some Hawaiian purple potatoes. I will post a photo when we cut them open. We love sweet potatoes and still have some in our pantry & love them baked!

Did you notice any Hanna Yams (white sweet potato, Japanese). The grocery stores I have been in are not carrying them.

Hi Yvonne, I did not notice but the next time we go back to the Asian market, I will look.
I was not really looking at the sweet potatoes but the name Hawaiian caught my eye. Usually the varieties at regular grocers are white, sweet, red, russet and every now and then I will find the purple potatoes. With this one having a cream color on the outside & labeled purple, we got them.
Are the Hanna Yams sweeter that the regular sweet potatoes?

Anita, I am doing a lot with Chef AJ who says they are so much better I can not find them to try. I can order online but I am one of those that like to see and pick my own : )
