I am 67 years young. Last year at this time I was taking beginner swimming lessons. I have fell in love, swim for an hour 4-6 days a week. I am now swimming with a master swim group at the pool. They kick my #%$$ everyday, the are excellent swimmers. But loving every minute of it. Hope to be able to take more lessons again soon. Part of my mantra is train better, swim better, be better. Power to be fit!

You all put me to shame. I have never been an exercise person and work long work days at a desk. I will say that I’ve walked 30 minutes on the treadmill daily since started. That’s an achievement for me!

Thanks for this thread Mindy. I have started walking again, slowly but surely, and I have looked at second hand stores for a little rebounder and will end up ordering online. I like the idea of having this to get me going in all things positive!

I love walking outside - this time of year with the ice it makes it harder. I want to start a weight lifting routine this year as part of my health goals. Excited to have just found an app that I can do at home!

Spinning! I'm back on the bike and can't wait to hit the trails and gravel! I'm a fair weather rider and haven't yet tried colder/snowy conditions. I do like to hike and snowshoe, and have a regular yoga practice as well a leading others in the practice.

I love this thread! ♥️♥️♥️ I’ve been working to stay active while in my stinking boot while my foot heals. Restorative yoga as well as simple upper body and bodyweight work have kept me creative and fresh. How blessed are we all to be as mobile and active as we have the ability to be? I am so grateful for a healthy body to move, sweat, and breathe in!

@mindy @cheri is one of the founders of the SD Yoga Conference in South Dakota! We’ve participated annually since it began with the exception of last year when we were out of the country after my son’s graduation! Look it up and totally plan for it! It is pure magic- bring a carload of ladies! People come from all over! 😍 if either or both of you would like to lead a class virtually for the community, we would love to feature you! We learn so much from each other and I’d be thrilled to learn from teachers in our community of all kinds of movement!

I walk every early morning before I start work (with a good friend.) Also do 30 min Essentrics every morning .
I swim daily during the summer months and love to bike . Used to run but had back surgery after a slip and fall in 2010 and since then have found the impact difficult .

Parmpoline park….cool. I thought I heard someone say they were going to give tips on using a mini trampoline. Sounds interesting.

I have a 30 minute video of chair exercises that my pulmonary therapist sent me. I also have a freestep that I use for cardio and a vibration platform to help with bone strength and my lymphatic system.
